'Reels from Gen Z protesters are puke-inducing; who is birthing and raising them?' Kangana slams CJP protest

NEW DELHI: Actress and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has strongly criticised the student protests led by the Cockroach Janata Party (CJP). Reacting to the demonstration at Jantar Mantar, which saw thousands of students participate, Kangana said that watching videos of Gen Z protesters made her "feel like vomiting."

In a series of Instagram Stories, the Mandi MP also criticised the way Gen Z protesters speak and the language they use.

'Never in my life I have seen so much ugliness in one place. These reels from Gen Z protests are puke-inducing. The way they speak and the kind of language they are using, never in my life I have seen everything in each and every frame so jarring and so crass all at once. Who is birthing and raising them?' Kangana wrote.

She also took aim at the protest's main symbol, the cockroach.

'You call yourselves cockroaches, and look/behave like them as well; there is no paradox or juxtaposition there. Just simply subjecting the world to your filth, garbage and ugliness,' she wrote.

Kangana also said that the reels and videos related to the protest had disturbed her mentally and left her deeply upset.

The student protest drew nationwide attention for its unconventional style. Many participants shared trending videos on social media from the early stages of the campaign, making online content a key part of the movement. Kangana criticised this style of protest, saying it made serious issues appear trivial.
