Groom collapses and dies during honeymoon just 10 days after marriage

MALAPPURAM: A youth collapsed and died during honeymoon in Sri Lanka. A K Muhammed Irfan of Vengara in Malappuram died following a heart attack. The information is that he suffered a heart attack while scuba diving.

Irfan died just 10 days after his marriage. Irfan and his wife went for honeymoon to Sri Lanka along with his friends and relatives. The team reached a place which is 300 kilometers away from Colombo. Irfan experienced chest pain while scuba diving underwater. Irfan, who fell unconscious, was immediately brought to the shore by his trainers and friends. Though he was taken to the hospital nearby, his life could not be saved.

Irfan, who was active in social activities, had also been in the news related to the Football World Cup in recent days. Leaders including Minister P K Kunhalikutty have started making arrangements to bring his body home as early as possible.
