KOCHI: Congress MP Jebi Mather has expressed disagreement with remarks made by K. Muraleedharan regarding Congress leaders Adoor Prakash and K. Sudhakaran, stating that senior leaders have their own opinions and political positions that should not be viewed with suspicion. Jebi Mather said she did not believe that anyone else was behind the political positions of Adoor Prakash and K. Muraleedharan. She added that it was inappropriate to link the views of experienced political leaders with those of other individuals, given their years of political experience.
The MP also said she would respect the Kerala Pradesh Congress Committee (KPCC) leadership's directive to refrain from making public comments on internal party disputes.
Meanwhile, Jebi Mather alleged that she had been subjected to an organised social media attack following the elections, involving sexually suggestive remarks and threats. She said she had submitted a 120-page complaint to the Director General of Police (DGP) in connection with the alleged harassment. The MP added that she would not give in to attempts to intimidate her and force her to withdraw from public life.
