Houthis target Saudi cities with missiles; Saudi coalition intercepts ballistic missiles

RIYADH: Saudi coalition forces intercepted a missile attack by the Houthis targeting Saudi cities. The Iran-aligned Houthi group launched six ballistic missiles targeting the Saudi cities of Taif and Yanbu. The Saudi coalition forces intercepted the missiles in the air.

Saudi coalition forces spokesperson Turki Al-Maliki said in a post on X that the country would strongly respond to any military actions by the Houthis against Saudi Arabia.

The continued Houthi attacks have also raised concerns in the Gulf region as military tensions between the US and Iran continue in West Asia.
