WASHINGTON: Former Miss Switzerland Beatrice Keul has accused US President Donald Trump of sexually assaulting her at a hotel in New York in 1993. According to a report released by Democrats on the US House Judiciary Committee, Keul told investigators that Trump tore her clothes during the alleged incident, leaving her with injuries and bleeding. Her statement was included in the report examining Trump's links with convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. However, the White House has dismissed the allegations.
According to the report, Keul met Trump at an event linked to a beauty pageant held at the Plaza Hotel in New York in November 1993. She told investigators that she was 24 years old at the time.
Keul also alleged that Trump had offered to help her obtain a US visa and secure admission to New York University. After speaking to Trump at the event, she met Epstein, who introduced himself as a close friend of Donald Trump, the report said. Epstein then invited her to a party at Mar-a-Lago in Florida. Later that day, a representative of Trump invited her to meet him in another room at the hotel, according to the report.
Keul alleged that when she entered the room, Trump grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her. The report stated that her clothes were torn during the alleged assault and that she suffered wounds and bruises on several parts of her body, causing her to bleed.
Following the incident, Trump allegedly repeated his promises to help her obtain a visa and admission to New York University. He also asked her not to tell anyone about what had happened, the report said.
This is not the first time Keul has made allegations against Trump. In 2024, she accused him of forcibly kissing her, touching her inappropriately and attempting to lift her clothes at the Plaza Hotel.
Meanwhile, the White House rejected the allegations, claiming that the report had been released with political motives.
