Film-serial actress Sanchita found hanging at her residence

MUMBAI: Renowned film-television serial actress Sanchita Ugale was found dead at her residence in Mumbai. Sanchita was found hanging at her residence in Nalasopara, Mumbai, on Sunday. Police said the exact reason behind her death is not clear yet. Fans are shocked by the actress's sudden demise.

According to police, the incident took place between 7 pm and 7.30 pm on the day of the incident. She was found hanging from a ceiling fan in her bedroom using a saree. Although her family members rushed her to a hospital, her life could not be saved.

Sanchita became popular through the television serial Kumkum Bhagya. She also gained attention for her roles in serials such as Sajan Ghar, Dilwali Dulhan Le Jayegi, and Wagle Ki Duniya. Her role in the Vicky Kaushal-starrer film Chhaava was also appreciated. She had also acted in Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout.

Police have launched an investigation into the actress’s death. Officials said further details will be known only after receiving the post-mortem report.
