KOCHI: A legal notice has been served to Major Ravi for his defamatory remarks towards the protestors in Jantar Mantar. The notice was sent by Malavika, a plus two student. The notice has demanded to tender an apology after withdrawing the remarks within seven days of receiving the notice and also asked him to remove the video from the social media.

Vismaya, actress and daughter of Mohanlal, had stepped forward supporting the students protest led by the Cockroach Janta Party (CJP). Soon Major Ravi came forward criticizing Vismaya. In a video shared on Facebook, he abused the protesters. His response was that Vismaya, born and raised in Vietnam, does not have much political knowledge. He said Vismaya's post was out of humanity after seeing the visuals of students getting beaten up during the protests in Delhi.

Major Ravi said that there is a foreign conspiracy behind the protests and that the protesters are receiving funds. Question papers have been leaked during the tenure of the Congress government as well. The Prime Minister's house is the highest security zone in this country. The police will take action if anyone goes there and protests. Those saying that they are protesting peacefully are destroying police vehicles and using pepper spray towards the police. Major Ravi also says in the video that there will be repercussions.
