‘Her condition is very bad, she can’t endure another chemo’; Renu Sudhi’s condition is very serious, says Sharika

Renu Sudhi, who is undergoing treatment for cancer, is in a very critical condition, said her friend and anchor Sharika K B. Sharika said doctors have informed that Renu Sudhi cannot undergo another round of chemotherapy as her health deteriorated after five rounds of treatment. Sharika revealed this in a video shared on social media.

Sharika said Renu is presently in the ICU of Kottayam Medical College and that her condition is very bad. She said Renu Sudhi’s sister had called and informed her about the situation. ‘Reality is often a little bitter. I have to tell you this bitter reality,’ Sharika said at the beginning of the video.

‘My dear friend Renu Sudhi is in a very bad condition. Her condition is very critical. Her platelet count has dropped drastically. She is admitted to the hospital. I came to know about it today after receiving her call. She called me to pray for her,’ she said.

Sharika added that Renu had undergone more than five rounds of chemotherapy and that after each session, she would reach a point where she would vomit even water. She is presently unable to eat. Sharika said that some device has been attached to her body as she cannot consume food normally, and that Renu’s sister doesn’t know what to do.

Sharika also clarified in the video that she was sharing the information only after getting permission from Renu’s family.
