Bedroom videos sold to porn sites in UK: Husband arrested in Kollam on wife’s complaint

KOLLAM: A man was arrested by the Kottiyam police following a complaint by his wife alleging that he recorded their bedroom videos and sold them to pornographic websites. A POCSO case had also been registered against the man.

According to the woman’s complaint, the husband sold their private bedroom videos to pornographic websites while they were living together in the UK. She alleged that he brutally assaulted her when she questioned him about it. The couple, who had been living in the UK for several years, returned to Kerala on the 14th. The woman said in her complaint that her husband had handed over their private videos to pornographic websites in the UK.

After they returned to Kerala, the husband was subjected to counselling, but he allegedly assaulted her again, the woman told the police. She also alleged that he earned money by selling nude videos to pornographic websites and forced her to share a bed with other men. She said he brutally assaulted her when she refused.

The woman further alleged that the husband engaged in a sexual act in front of their four-year-old daughter. The police subsequently invoked POCSO provisions against the accused. During counselling, the child also gave a statement against her father. The couple got married after being in a relationship for 10 years.
