KOZHIKODE: Sixty-three bottles of foreign liquor and 70 bullets were recovered from a locked house in Thamarassery. The items were found in a joint inspection conducted by the excise department and the police. The house owner has been arrested in connection with the incident.
The local residents informed the authorities that suspicious activities were happening in the locked house. Following the information, an excise team reached the house and conducted an inspection. The foreign liquor seized from the premises was taken into excise custody, while the bullets are in the custody of the Thamarassery police. The bullets recovered were used in large firearms.
