‘We have a huge age gap, but that doesn’t make it any less of a crush’: Anupama Parameswaran opens up

Actress Anupama Parameswaran has revealed that Malayalam superstar Mohanlal is her celebrity crush. She made the revelation during an interview with a YouTube channel as part of the promotional campaign for her latest film. Anupama said she had grown up watching Mohanlal’s films and that her mother and younger brother were the biggest Mohanlal fans in her family.

“We have a huge age gap. But that doesn’t mean it isn’t a crush,” she said.

“My mother is the biggest Mohanlal fan in our family, followed by my younger brother. I think he has an even bigger crush on Lalettan than I do. He only sends me Instagram reels about Lalettan. He never even asks how I am or where I am,” Anupama said.

Her Telugu film Crazy Kalyanam was released on October 16, 2026. The film has received mixed reviews from critics.
