WARSAW: A hydration drink developed by Malayalis in Poland is set to enter the Indian market. Called 'Adipoli', the alcohol-free beverage was launched in 2026 under the 'Malayali' brand by Palakkad natives Chandramohan Nallur and Sargeev Sukumaran through their startup, Hexagon Spirits International. The drink is expected to be available in India from January 2027.
Chandramohan is the only Malayali in the business delegation accompanying Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk on his visit to India. The beverage will be introduced in the Indian market with the support of a Chennai-based company. A memorandum of understanding in this regard is expected to be signed at the India-Poland Business Forum in Bengaluru today.
Hexagon Spirits International had introduced its 'Malayali' beer in Kerala last year. “'Adipoli' is among the five words most familiar to people who are not Malayalis. I cannot think of a better word for a beverage that is set to reach the international market,” Chandramohan said.
Adipoli is a tropical drink that contains no alcohol, caffeine or taurine. It has a mango flavour and, according to its makers, contains vitamins and magnesium. Its other ingredients include water, sugar, carbon dioxide, citric acid and orange terpenes.
