THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat reiterated the Sangh ideology that India is a Hindu nation and Hinduism is a way of life. He reminded that one should become a Hindu not through religious observance but through action.
Bhagwat was speaking at a lecture organised at Udaya Palace Auditorium as part of the RSS centenary celebrations.
Dr Mohan Bhagwat:
“RSS is not here to oppose anyone. There are no enemies. But many people are afraid of RSS. Such people are campaigning against the Sangh. RSS aims to work for the betterment of the country and the world. Sangh's message is to spread peace and happiness all over the world.
In the past 100 years, the RSS has been able to successfully implement many of society's demands. 130,000 service schemes are implemented without a single penny from the government. The RSS works without taking a single penny from outside. There are self-sevaks in politics. Sangh is not a political movement. Ram Janmabhoomi and Article 370 are not political issues. They affect the unity and integrity of India.
It was not the British who made India a nation. It was the Hindutva culture”
RSS Thiruvananthapuram branch Sanghchalak P. Girish and South Kerala Prantha Karyavah T.V. Prasad Babu were present. Prant Sah Sampark Pramukh M. Jayakumar welcomed the gathering.
Invited persons from various fields participated. The Sarsanghchalak answered the questions and doubts of the audience.
