Karuppu, starring Suriya and directed by RJ Balaji, is continuing its dream run in theatres. The film crossed Rs 150 crore in worldwide box office collections on its fourth day, marking Suriya’s first major commercial success in 13 years. Since the release of Singam 2 in 2013, the actor had struggled to deliver a major box office hit. In Karuppu, Suriya plays the dual roles of Karuppu Swamy and Saravanan, while Trisha Krishnan appears as the female lead.

Now, Trisha has shared some behind-the-scenes moments from the film on her Instagram page. The actress posted location photos and videos from the sets along with the caption: 'My magical May said, one more for the win. Just God things.'

Fans on social media claimed that the caption was not only about the success of Karuppu but also hinted at Vijay becoming Chief Minister. The post has since sparked mixed reactions online.

Several users reacted strongly in the comments section. While some said 'everything is in the caption,' others criticised Trisha for allegedly treating Vijay’s political success as her own. Some questioned why only Trisha was being blamed, while others accused the actress of destroying the life of Sangeetha, the wife of Vijay.
